Our Partners

At Village Rise, partnerships are not just about collaboration—they are about connection, trust, and shared purpose. We choose our partners with great care, seeking out community-centered organizations that are deeply committed to the well-being of the people they serve. These partners are not just service providers; they are caretakers of their communities, holding the hearts and hopes of those they support.

Understanding a community’s needs begins with listening. Rather than assuming solutions, we engage with partners who are rooted in the everyday realities of their communities—those who walk alongside the people, understand their struggles, and honor their aspirations. We seek organizations that demonstrate unwavering commitment, not only in their words but in their actions, showing up with love, resilience, and a deep desire to uplift others.

Our relationships are built on trust and mutual respect. We support our partners not by leading, but by standing beside them.

Independent Baptist Mission for Jamaica and the Dominican Republic (IBMJDR)

Village Rise partners with the Independent Baptist Mission in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic to uplift and empower communities. We provide education for children, build homes for the less fortunate, and organize food drives to meet critical community needs.

Since 1996 Independent Baptist Mission has worked in Jamaica and in the Dominican Republic as a practical ministry. Our joint mission focuses on building and repairing houses, building and upgrading churches, feeding the hungry; we also work on other projects to meet the needs of the communities, do outreach through our local nursing homes, and support orphanage ministries. In partnership with IBMJDR, we created facilities to support educational programs for children and to support local orphans.

“We have seen growth in each of the programs that have been funded by Village Rise. Our vision remains the same to give a hand up not a handout”

Dane-Haye Mehr "Seeds of Compassion"

Village Rise partners with Dane-Haye Mehr to create lasting change by investing in education, healthcare, sports, and cultural programs that uplift and empower communities.

Village Rise partners with Dane-Haye Mehr, founded in 2021 in Golestan Province, to uplift struggling communities through targeted investments in education, health, well-being, nutrition, cultural awareness, and women's empowerment. This partnership has led to tangible improvements, including the building and renovation of schools—from painting and new toilet facilities to providing school supplies, furniture, and media technology—and the creation of libraries and sports facilities, such as a soccer field. The sports facilities have fostered strong family bonds and community pride  through shared activities and have positively impacted entire villages by offering a safe and healthy outlet for youth. The creation of a library has opened new worlds for these students, providing access to a wealth of knowledge and information. The library empowers them to explore new ideas, expand their horizons, and develop critical thinking skills and serves as a vital resource for continuing education. Dane-Haye Mehr and Village Rise also collaborate on cultural celebrations that bring people together and celebrate a sense of pride in their heritage and history.

Niger

Amman Imman "Water is Life"

Village Rise partners with Amman Imman to provide education and support for young women and girls in Niger through creating a boarding school in the city of Takra.

Working in partnership with Amman Imman, Village Rise supports young women and girls in Niger's remote villages who lack access to education and often essential healthcare. Together, we established a boarding school in Takra, providing a safe and supportive haven where these girls can pursue their studies. Students are carefully selected, often those whose education was interrupted due to cultural barriers, and receive housing, basic necessities, and financial support to continue their schooling. Through the combined efforts of Village Rise and Amman Imman, these young women are being empowered through education, women's health literacy, and vocational training, laying the foundation for a more secure and promising future.

“While we in the U.S. face uncertain times, our friends in Niger live with uncertainty and danger every single day. Yet, together—through Village Rise and Amman Imman—we are making a difference. With your support, we are empowering students with education, equipping young women with vocational skills, and laying the groundwork for a better future.”
